My Favorite Products from NOW Foods

If you’ve been following me for any time at all, you’ll know I am a total supplement junkie. I’ve found myself using supplements for YEARS and have enjoyed getting to try different brands and products to see what works best for my system. One brand that I’ve been using for years, and now have the chance to work with professionally, is NOW®. I’ve been lucky enough to visit the NOW headquarters outside of Chicago, so have really gotten the chance to see the ins and outs of their processes involving all things supplements, skincare and beauty products, food products, essential oils, and so much more. If you are looking for one company to start your supplement journey, I recommend looking at NOW first because of their wide array of product offerings.

The products I’m sharing are a mix of supplements I love, food products I consume, and essential oils I use in my home.

Buffered Vitamin C: I love taking NOW’s Buffered vitamin C. I have taken vitamin C daily for several years now. Not just for my immune health, but also for skin health*. Since vitamin C is necessary for the production of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue) it plays an important role in skin health too. With the influx of vitamin C serums out on the market now, it makes sense to me to continue to take it orally, every single day! I feel like my skin always looks brighter when I am taking my vitamin C!*

Vitamin D3: Like many people, I have a vitamin D deficiency, so I take this supplement every day! It has made such a difference in my health, happiness and energy*! I truly notice a difference when I forget to take it. However, I wouldn’t recommend anyone take vitamin D without getting lab work done first. Too much vitamin D can be harmful (as can too much of any supplement or vitamin!).

Psyllium Husk Capsules: If you struggle with regularity, I definitely recommend adding some fiber supplements into your routine. I have been doing an extensive detox program, and the Psyllium Husk capsules are a great way for me to easily add fiber into my diet. Adding more soluble fiber to your diet can have a whole host of health benefits, which I am all about*! I prefer the capsules over the powder because the powder becomes a gel consistency very quickly! The capsules are just easier for me!

Organic Hemp Seed Hearts: I am OBSESSED with hemp hearts. I add them to as many meals as I possibly can! They are great in smoothies, on oatmeal, mixed into salads or even topped on pasta! I truly incorporate them into my routine daily (see my Hemp Heart Coffee recipe HERE!). They are full of nutrients like healthy fat, fiber and protein! They have a super subtle nutty flavor that I enjoy, but they do not overpower your meal if you are eating something like pasta. If you are not a fan of flax seeds or chia seeds, I definitely recommend giving hemp seeds/hearts a try!

Golden Berries: If you are a sour candy lover, and want a healthy alternative, TRY GOLDEN BERRIES! I learned this tip from Kelly Leveque when we were on a NOW retreat last Summer, and it has been a game changer for me! I am HOOKED on these things. Kelly said she tells her clients to swap sour gummy candy for golden berries if that is your thing, and I can TOTALLY see why! They are chewy and delicious, without being full of artificial colors and sugar! Win win win!

Lavender Roller: This lavender roller has been ESSENTIAL in my sleep routine for a year or so now. I’ve already gone through 3 rollers, I am completely hooked! The lavender oil that NOW uses for this roller is super pleasant and not too overpowering. I honestly feel like it helps lull me to sleep. It will forever remain an important step in my evening routine.
